Sweet Willow is one of 15 dogs that we are rescuing from the Elephant Nature Park in Thailand. At the end of October they will take a freedom flight to Colorado! Willow is very lucky to be making this flight. The streets of Thailand are not easy for a submissive girl like her. Street dogs are often poisoned or put into the meat trade industry. Willow is an athletic girl who will make a great hiking buddy! She gets along well with other dogs and LOVES getting affection from people. Whoever adopts her will be showered with sweetness day in and day out. Willow does everything she can to please people. Willow hasn't had the opportunity to learn ... (Read More)basic obedience and would love someone who is committed to attending with her. Willow is surely a mutt (the cutest!) but we think she might be a shiba inu/border collie. She weighs in at about 39lbs & has the softest coat. If you're interested in adopting her please email us at! (Less)

Shiba Inu Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Male Dogs Only, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant

Bailey is a two-year-old spayed female in great health. She is a mixed breed, possibly Shiba Inu and Carolina Dog aka American Dingo. Bailey has had some training and responds to redirection and positive reinforcement. With more work, she may be able to get along with most dogs. She LOVES humans, and loves to cuddle. She is crate trained and potty trained%BD'%BD|just waiting for you. Bailey has some special needs from previous physical abuse. She has damage to her throat, so wearing a collar, harness or leash sends her anxiety skyrocketing (she was hung previously). This limits her ability to go for walks, so she really needs a place ... (Read More)with a lot of room to roam. Bailey also needs a home with no other female or dominant dogs, or a skilled handler to help her work through her need to dominate (not in the Cesar Milan sense). She gets along with cats and other dogs that are not a threat to her. She is food and resource aggressive, so she needs to eat alone. She gets over-protective of her human when other dogs are around.
