Rescue Me ID: 17-03-26-00237Griffon (male)

Shiba Inu Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Very High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Griffon is a young, male Border Collie/Shiba Inu mix that is a happy, energetic Boy. He is estimated at 15 months old and weighs in the 35 pound range. Although we are not totally sure about Griffon's breed mix, he has the energy level and intelligence of a Border Collie mixed with the stubborness of a Shiba Inu. Please do some research on the breeds!!! Griffon is fully vaccinated, micro-chipped and neutered. He is heart worm negative and on monthly preventatives. Griffon is in foster care and shares the house with 3 other dogs and two children (3 and 8). He would do best with older children though. He is house and crate-trained. ... (Read More)What he needs: An active family willing to provide him with plenty of exercise (walks/runs) on a daily basis. This dog is NOT a couch potato and is very high energy. 2. a fenced yard is necessary (physical fence, not an underground one). 3. no small children in the house or that visit regularly. They would not appreciate his level of energy or his lack of manners. Griffon is a friendly boy but he will jump and he will use his mouth when playing or when he gets excited 4. dog savvy people willing to work with obedience training. Griffon has characteristics of both Border Collies and Shiba Inu's. Too smart for his own good, high, high energy and stubborness but he is very loyal and loving. Griffon is not in the Denver area but can be transported there for the right applicant. His adoption fee is $350 which includes transport costs. If interested in Griffon, you can email me for more information and pictures at mcmahod@yahoo.com. APPLICATION IS HERE: http://www.emailmeform.com/builder/form/E53LXc4bsw6r997fuK4 (Less)
