This is Mama Nine. She is a new rescue that was just saved with her 9 puppies. She is not yet ready to go into a home but will be soon as soon as her vetting is completed. She is very sweet and calm and not very big around 35 to 40 pounds I would say. We are not sure of her breed because she is just a rescue but she does really appear to have some Shiba Inu in her possibly some German Shepherd also. She will be looking for a forever home and so will her 9 puppies as soon as they are old enough. If you would like more information on her please let us know. We are in the Florida Panhandle. Thank you.

Animal ID: 15-03-27-00218Morgan (female)

Shiba Inu Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Little Morgan, all 24 pounds of her, is a sweet and shy girl. She hails from Arkansas, where she and a friend were pulled from a rural shelter of despicable condition. Morgan has had her ups and downs, she was attacked in a boarding facility and had to be relocated to another facility. She is extremely timid when meeting other dogs, and will growl but will not attack. Given a day or even a few hours, when she knows she will not be hurt, she is very tolerant of other dogs, and now is accepting and even playing heartily with her foster brothers and sisters. We do expect that reaction to new dogs to disappear as she becomes more confident and ... (Read More)used to meeting other doggies. Morgan knows how to sit, and has a decent come when she is not busy exploring. She loves to be outdoors, and does a fair share of flycatching and patrolling for bugs. She picked up the dog door in no time flat. Has excellent leash skills, has the ability to learn to play with toys, she is being house broken now, and is excelling in record time. She is not enamoured of her crate, but will go in to eat or sleep. She is not fond of it when tis time to go to work, but a bone or antler will go a long way there. She does ride well in a car, (it was a three day trip from Arkansas). Snuggle time you bet! and a snooze on the bed is even better. And who can resist?? She loves to be loved on, and would love a home where she will be pampered. She does have some separaton anxiety so another dog or two that is calm confident and friendly would be such a bonus for her! She has potential for doggie sports, once she gets acclimated to the real world, and has been socialized. Morgan would definitely benefit from obedience classes, basic agility class. She is a fun, sweet little girl who will give years of love and put laughter in to your life! Right now we will go with moderate activity, but be prepared as she gets comfy and confident for that jogging partner, or that agility girl that will come peeking thru!! Morgan is fostered in the Bradenton area, please contact us if you are interested in adopting this little girlie! (Less)
