Rescue Me ID: 15-10-02-00012Dakota (male)

Shiba Inu    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Not Good with Cats
Personality: Very High Energy, Very Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Aggressive

This is Dakota. He is a Shiba Inu. He has been very well loved since the moment we got him. From a very young age he has been socialized among dogs and cats. He loved going to dog parks, but an incident that occurred with a family members dog has made him turn aggressive towards other animals; even the 2 dogs he grew up with. That is what has brought us here. We love him so much but our other dogs safety is important to us. He has become a very affectionate boy. He loves challenges and games. He has always been scared of the wind since he was a baby so he does take a minute to warm up to strangers. He is very smart and stubborn. He has a ... (Read More)ton of energy and would benefit being in an active home. Our goal is to find him a home with the right person/people, who understand what he needs. He likes to be free, preferrably in a home with a large yard. A home with no other pets. We really want a good home for him with someone who has patience and who truely understands the task of owning a shiba inu. (Less)
